Poor old Mr. Moon 🌚

The two-faced moon cocked his heavy head to one side

Too ashamed to show the world trickled tears that he had cried

Yet foolish from the frustration that he tried so hard to hide

But still yon poor old Mr. Moon put away his pride..
                               ~
He had watched overhead hiding in a cloud

Pretending not to listen to the racket that was loud

But as torrential rain tumbled down to the earth below

It froze in midair and hail turned to snow..
                                ~
Then it thundered with fork lightening flashing through the sky

And that’s when the moon felt terrible and he started to cry 
                                
Poor old Mr. Moon, he felt Oh so sad 

Mother nature was in an awful mood and making the weather very bad...
