Poor Peggy Susan 🥲

Poor Peggy Susan 🥲

She was too tired to think
and  too tired to play..as she lay wide awake at the dawning of the day

She hadn’t slept a wink, too busy counting sheep.. with that terrible thing called insomnia, she was even too tired to be able sleep!!

Oh poor Peggy Susan, whatever should she do?.weariness was worrying and making her blue..

So she went to the Doctors and told him of her plight..where he prescribed her some sleeping pills, saying “You WILL sleep tonight!!

But all the little nocturnal animals were creeping around in the woods..she still couldn’t get to sleep, though she would have if she could!!

Now two weeks went by, without any rest..tiny cat naps through the day on the sofa was her very best!!

When on the Monday morning of a brand new day..she fell flat out on the floor and they took her away!!
