Poor squiggly, wiggly worm 🥲

A long, lithe lonesome squiggly, wiggly, worm gave a corkscrew wriggle and a little squirm..and he thought to himself “Have I caught a germ?”
His body felt flabby and alot was wrong..had he been halved by a spade or a pitch-fork prong ? Was this to be his finale of life’s last swan song ?
Well that poor wiggly worm worried all night long...
So he tunnelled his way with tearful might..the soil was solid and the stones were a sight..His pain was tough amidst his fight..but would he win his battle when he saw the daylight ?...
Now as he pushed and pulled between that earth..to reach the summit with all it’s worth..coz he needed some light to see his girth..
Then just as his bulbous head was poking through..betwixt the grassy turf with bright green hue..he was snatched by the jaws of a ravenous shrew...So the moral of this short sad story..goes through life’s journeys with strife and glory..If only that poor little wiggly worm had stayed down deep below..but then again how was he to know ?...
