Portrait of A Wild Garden

I wasted so much of spring
                                                                                  thinking about
                                                                      starting work on the garden,
                                                                                before I knew it ..
                                                                      Between the bees, the birds
                                                                               and the summer ..
They had all beaten me to it ..

This speaks to me of an apathy I recognise and again the way you've written it is excellence, any control we have has to be exerted  on a daily basis because life does not care one bit if we partake or not...it is indifferent and never ever needed us in the first place ...just like your birds and bees and summer demonstrate. This is probably a tad indepth for your lighthearted poem...what can I say...that's the kind of gal I am😏 x
