A Positive Death Sentence

Now when I think

The cogs of chemical complicity turn clockwise

As hamsters running towards the drop off

I am thinking sideways, forwards, backwards and upwards

And a deafening silence greets my punched out demands

A silence which I desire, and I think my cunning friend wants me to be happy

Alive like Geronimo howling at an unborn moon

And I long for silence inbetween the heartbeats

It brings sanity and everywhere there are footsteps taking lonely staring eyes to signposts

A big question mark

I have been hugged and caressed by a big query ever since birth

How about that for a positive death sentence.
