" POWER TO THE STORM CHASERS "

Armed with a PHD and an eye for the storm
Chasers like Ginger Zee and Carl Young perform
An incredible task, to help warn our world
Of the most dangerous disasters Mother Nature unfurls
Finding storms before the sky gets too dark
Hoping it produces a tornado with a vicious heart
Hoping there are roads to get them there in time
To warn nearby towns that it's time to run and hide
Creating vehicles, rolling suites of armor
Steel plated floors, a vehicular beast
With bullet proof windows to stop the oncoming feast
An interior weather center with high-tech compromise
A military turret with three hundred sixty degree eyes
To catch the eye of the tornado
Why would someone risk their lives
To get up close and personal with a killer storm
Is it adrenaline, curiosity, or just the need to learn
Because we still don't understand and long to know more
In my personal opinion it's their enthusiasm and guts
That I adore
The burning desire
To save lives
And the need
To forewarn.....
