Pray For Me

Pray For Me

Pray for me
As I drag myself
Through hell
One more time
For the sake of another
Lord we know not
What we do
I'd smile at my brother
Even if he had the
Nerve to curve
And ignore my mother
Those cries of pain
As her face was smothered
I bare pain like no other
I barely even know her
Yet I'm inclined to say
I love her
The world throws rocks
Somehow I'm now her cover
And together we will suffer
But the rocks will always
Hit me first and
With all its weight
Until..great,
Now I'm encumbered
