Prayer For The Ascension Of The King....
Oh Mighty King, to what have we become
Mourning our temporal losses and for such a pitiful gain
We are ever unmindful of the pain you bear for us
We pray these things for you, that we become as you
Who have given us thy mighty breath of life
We learn to love each other, that we might become as you
We become ever mindful of the injuries to our spiritual life
What wisdom that thy holy soul hath said;
"My mind is greatly grounded and well established in Christ!"
Lord who shall I trust? No one but you! You are the truth!
The light, the way, from freeing ourselves in mortal hate and tension
We pray we honor you this day, the miracle of your Ascension....
