Prayer for the New Year

Another  New Year
Let it not be full of  fears and tears 
May the Light illuminate the darkest recesses
And Peace spread like a plague throughout our fractured planet.

Another  New Year
May we look  on our brothers as equals 
As deserving of warmth food and shelter as our own kin
May we spend the money we spend on war and divisiveness on Peace and inclusivity.

Another New Year
May we rediscover our humanity
And rejoice in implementing that discovery for the benefit of All.

Another New Year 
May it be full of potential 
May it hold a brighter future  for  mankind
A brotherhood of souls united in one goal for Peace and sustainability  on this Blue Planet  we are the caretakers of.

Another  New Year 
May it hold the promise of a brighter  tomorrow for all those oppressed by their fellow man
A New Dawn of understanding  and Universal Brotherhood. 

Another New Year 
May you all be guided by your brightest light
May all your deeds be for the health and happiness and enjoyment  of your brothers and sisters. 
We only have one planet we share and one human family we share it with
Let us learn to love all humanity. 

Another  New Year 
May war, disease, famine and oppression  be eradicated
May environmental destruction be halted
May homelessness, poverty and lack of  Love and compassion  for our fellow brothers be eradicated. 

Let us All pledge to do what we can in the coming New Year to bring Love and Light and Peace
To All our fellow  men
