I am in a state of such heightened awareness
I cannot know whom to trust, and in all fairness
I beg you, please show me the way to protect my Love
For she is all I've ever known worthy, to be dreaming of
My many friends, are of no help to me
Nor can influential associates, aid me
Wise counselor's can't offer the correct answer
Nor can the books of religion offer any comfort
No precious stone can buy my freedom
Nor any sacred place, help me heed them
Whatever may seem good for our peace and happiness
Is really nothing, if you're not here, or absent from us
You are the end of everything, and she is my inner good
You, the highest point of life, and she, my tranquil neighborhood
Bless and sanctify my soul, a heavenly blessing that becomes
A holy dwelling place, for both of us, in the light of YOUR Love
Guard and defend my heart amid the many dangers of this life
Your grace direct me down the path, that blesses me with a wife
According to the greatness of your goodness, I pray it was fair to discuss
