God: The Single Parent, empoverished yet rich in love

You are an enigma

May the hopes you bear for your children come to fruition

May you be esteemed among us beyond your imagination

Provide for us as best you can given these constraints

Don't stop showing us your kindness so that we may learn virtue

And don't punish us as a drunkard but counsel us wisely

For your love is the Truth and it will save us and vindicate you
