A Prayer for Valerie Lynn
Save me, dear …
Oh Creator, my Savior in life,
Will you touch me for a heal,
while I am in hospital bed, I feel
You will free me in my peril
Oh Lover, you are my hope,
you are the protector, shelter of my body;
My soul is within your embrace
Will you cure all my disease, with a kiss?
When I weep, when peeling tears fall
Will you come to flavor my bitterness?
when I struggle, stressed to stay alive
you stand by and offer your hands;
when I give up, all my shattered dreams
Will you join me to pick up all the those debris ?

I love the picture you used! The picture of me being blonde brings back so many memories of the days when I would go out with my friends all the time. Happy memories!!! :)
I can honestly say that not even certain people who claimed to be my friend cared as much as you do. Once I wasn't able to party anymore some just left me behind. But I can say this sickness quickly showed my friends true colors and who were actually my true friends or not.
