Presence Of God

Heavens opened, a soothing light appeared

A moment of clarity to banish what I feared

The presence bathed me, showing me the way

Giving me so much more than words can say

The light carried visions of peace and harmony

Encompassing the hopes and dreams of many

Where there is presently conflict and deep pain

It showed with peace and love there is much to gain

The light foretold of a world free of war and poverty

It was a future which all should be pleased to see

The light left me in a state of euphoria and bliss

For now I realized there can be more to life than this.

Now, a path can be chosen to fulfill our destiny

It is by the grace of God that I envisaged what can be.
