Prideful America

We're Americans
We say we stand for 
This and that 

We lost that honor 
That pride we decided to write about 
Deminshed 

How the hell 
Are we supposed to be prideful
To a nation with a leader 
Who cant choose their own battles 

It gets old
When will we all finally learn
We can change 
With out the pain of masses
When will it get through our thick skulls
Bombs +weapons 
Don't equal peace
How are we to be happy
As many die
It's "the circle of life "
Sure
But is it in the circle of life
For nations to be bombed to ashes

I've seen all I loved destroyed
I've lived through it
I've seen my family 
Go up in flames
It sucks 
This isn't peace 
Violence isnt peace 
We can fight all these wars
Earn all these scars upon our country 
But truly...
We can't stand with pride
As we lost all our nation's value
As our ego grew too large....
We can't call this living
Rather restless surviving 
On things not needed to be done
Talk of terrorists 
Fill the country 
Anger burns

We try to prove 
That we are right

As we bomb 
Kill
And
Destroy
