Professional Beggar

Professional Beggar

Since the world is now a mess
What would you do Mister, Miss?
You have pleaded for help
You have worked for each bread
Still you are hungry
And very very angry
If one won't get earthly riches
Why miss heavenly riches
It's best your trying amounts to nothing
Then your disbelief costing you everything
So like a professional
Skillfully kneeling
For Mercies unconditional
Obviously one that does saving
What measures the worth of the soul.
One does not possess such treasure.
So with the right posture
As a professional Beggar
Gladly forsaking all pleasure

Two tender buds, in robes of nascent green.
