Pst.... It's a Leap Year

This is the year, 2016
Young as they come only 19
For you have treated me like a queen
May I crown you my king?
Down to one knee I see
You thought you were lucky,
But dear Brent Walke
Will you marry me?

If you shall hesitate may I say
The day I first saw you
I knew it was the beginning
A bit it occurred of you and me
Oh had I known for sure
That day I do believe
I would have seized
You, for you and me?
In holy matrimony?
I never believed,
But this is the season
Where the girl in white
Is given good reason
To bend on one knee,
So if I am as so lucky
Dear Brent Walke
Will you marry me?
