Psychologies

Psychologies

All my life there have been questions that I haven't been able to answer.

Pieces of human psychology I could never place or find within me.

Empathy lacked for people who acted differently, in a way I could never understand.

Such limited understanding.

Now it feels the winds have changed, the tables have turned.

Now I am the all seeing eye, I feel and experience everything.

Never have I been anxious, until now.

Puberty got at me like a woodpecker to a tree,

Slowly changing me from the outside until I was internally affected,

Until the change came from within.

Sometimes even still I have trouble understanding why people act a certain way,

But I have learnt to accept that their actions are

Shadows of their psychological journey through conversations

And their interpretations of how to best deal with difficult times,

Like a ship setting sail not sure where it's going,

To-ing and fro-ing,

With the wind always blowing,

With the new memories and situations you're sowing.

Always on the move,

Always learning, always going.
