Pursuit

Flee, run, the urge prevails,
Gasps of breath, as scenery flies,
Catch the heart before it sails,
Never to late if one tries.

Voracious wolves do pursue,
Hunting, howling, hot pursuit,
Grasp each breath, which is due,
Nipping, biting, the facade suit.

Branches rip, tear and shred,
Trickles blood, instead of tears,
Entire being filled by dread,
Just one, of a host of fears.

Muscles burn, shear in pain,
Chest a fire, led astray,
Stumble, tumble and footing regain,
Onwards, away from the fray.

Turn each corner, no escape,
Mad, frenzied, howling throat,
Hunters grip, soul rape,
Easy pickings, no use to gloat.

Crevice, cranny nor even nook,
Pursuit to close, abscond denied,
Wishes long past, for what was took,
Eternity's seconds spent, till died.

Surrender, turn and fight,
Accept judgement, justice meted out,
Tired, weak, subjugated might,
Wolves feed tonight, without a doubt.

Time

Specs of conscious dust,
Born from darkness
In life...till death,
In a fleeting moment...

Knife twist

Cold whetted steel
Pierces my heart,
As she twists the blade
And sadly smiles.

Depression

Depression

Rays of warmth and light...
Swallowed whole, in abysmal bleakness.
Continuous loathing fight...
