Queen

Queen

How could I label myself as queen without a dream?Ā
How could I have serenity in my heart and listen to the world scream?
Mercy mercy meĀ
Things ain’t what they appear to beĀ
I see
I spokeĀ
because I’m woke
I’m guided by the unseenĀ
Mercy mercy me
Oh! do I have a dreamĀ
To speak to nationsĀ
Philosophy of peaceĀ
Opening minds of philosophersĀ
To mind what I see
Mercy mercy meĀ
I’m a ancient soul speakingĀ
from within the paintĀ
As the pictures were paintedĀ
I am QueenĀ
