Queen of My Heart
You reside erect atop my mentality's throne,
Displaying a brilliance this dominions never known.
Your laughter resounds through the corridors,
Currently embellished with fair splendors.
Your tender voice within every chamber echoes,
Creating fervent comfort, euphoric repose.
Your radiant smile illuminates the most meandering pathways,
Eliminating the dark depths of dungeons where tormenting wrath lays.
Your gentle eyes reflect a harmonious creed,
Sincerely exalted by this spirit now freed.
Your reign may remain, never to depart,
For you are the sovereign queen of my heart.

hey I greatly appreciate your thoughts! I wrote this to my wife! a time when the emotions were above the clouds! funny how emotions are, a rollercoaster at times! perhaps that is why we have something so sure, a hope that never dwindles!

Read between the lines: It’s a gift to have a friend who sees who you really are and can remind you when you have lost sight of yourself.If you do not have such a friend, you must try hard to be this person to yourself. Talk with yourself. Encourage yourself. Be gentle, forgiving and kind to yourself. Train yourself to look in the mirror and act and think in a way that makes you proud to call THAT woman a friend.
