Questioning Tongues Go Enlightened Ones

Questioning Tongues Go Enlightened Ones

I sat in the company of their words
Separate a world in the moment of life,
Listening while written ink found it's voice
Reality tugged at my shirt though venturing further in spite.

Ambitious to follow in fading footsteps
To a design that's meant to be,
Hesitant in the beliefs I comprehend
Centuries of speech doesn't speak to me.

I looked inside myself with eyes flashlight bright
For any parts turned black of rot,
The soul within cannot conform to certain religion
Blasphemous tongues tell of hell I bought.

Pray tell ask the flock to the lost
Found is me by the one of divinity,
Holding a heart of gold without black decay
Speaks a voice serene within me I believe.

Thanks T it is my beliefs which allows me to stand out. I don't follow the regular scheme of things but that is what i love about free will it gives us the ability to worship in our own way.

Gripping write, Devon...like the idea of embracing or rejecting knowledge in the spiritual realm on an individual level; the will is ultimately the governing body in the nature of man; it really is all we have, although it can be diminished by 'destructive behavior' if it isn't already, but on the other hand, to believe something just because others practice and believe it, is highly problematic....like the way you process; it is said that if you give truth enough of a chance to reveal itself and get out the way, it will reveal itself...interesting write overall, makes me think... enjoyed

Christopher love the comment thanks brother. When it comes to religion i hate on none they all serve the same purpose praising God and being a good person and i actually ask people of different faiths about their religions so im not naive to them but it is the different conformities that make me speculate on why we have to choose a certain religion.
