Quiet Devotion

Quiet Devotion

No one hears my thoughts
Even The Lord covers me in a veil sacred
For I am a ka'aba
Haram means a boundary enclosed
Holy means taboo
I forbid the Creator's intrusion
I won't be violated by that One
Yet somehow the Beloved sees me
Observers me through the eye of a flower
A cloud can read my irises as mood rings
A lake exposes my rawness to the heavens
Like a well polished mirror
He says I am His lighthouse
Surely it is He that is mine
How is anything forbidden in this space
When all His works are irresistable
And righteousness reigns in peace
