Poem -

racism

racism

The opposite colour of mine
Told me not to cross the line

Cause if I did I would suffer
And my family's life would get tougher and tougher

I don’t know why my life is like this
For someone to look at me and raise a fist

I hope that kindness would activate
So people can talk and communicate

With any person black or white
So there would be peace not a fight

Black and white people all the same so nobody should get the blame
For something that had just gone wrong
And we would all co-operate like verses of a song
