Poem -

Rain

By Magic Bellmore, Queen of Chaos

Rain

The sun in the sky slowly starts to fade,
Little lights twinkle up above,
Torn scraps of clouds drift in the dark,
Suddenly rain starts to sprinkle down,
Little gems illuminated by the shimmering moon,
Falling diamonds,
Angel tears blessing the roots of earth,
The rain starts to pitter patter down, heavier and heavier,
It drums mercilessly on my tin roof,
Beating down softly onto my little red car,
The loud call of crickets and cicadas drowned out,
Little, falling diamonds catching the light of a thousand stars above,
The bright, white, shimmering moon casting light,
Refracting off every little droplet of rain.
