Turkey Hostage!

Turkey Hostage!

My sister and I got excited, it turns out our dad got a raise.

We expected things would get better, maybe we would even get a new pair of shoes.

It turns out our dad makes to much now and we lost all of our financial help.

We were much better before the raise and our fridge always was plum full from bottom to top.

Now it’s Thanksgiving Day and they’re holding our turkey hostage, my family has never stressed so much.

The note for the ransom, simply stated…

Your dad makes to much!

Who knew, 50 cents more an hour could cost us thousands…

Who knew by our dad working overtime and trying to better our situation, it would only make things worse.

Mom was yelling at dad because we lost our free health insurance, financially we our lost.

But man did we have a good time celebrating when dad first got the news.

Dad said just like our Thanksgiving turkey, the government has us all in a noose.

The Government can gobble gobble our Thanksgiving nuts!!!

Count your blessings, don’t take this day for granted, their are others who would die to live in your Hell, their are others who would love to call it home, some might even say it’s Heaven, to each their own!
