Poem -
Rating.
Devils Drive.
Love flowed freely, as did the rouge wine !
In, banquet, was found means to fine dine.
Longing of heart, bringing food for thought.
Attractions, beyond words, wisely sought !
Within, the feasts, everything was meant !
Frustrations, taking on, the unfaithful vent.
Souls given, to be of the suspicious virtue.
Lost were rules, to curb excess of a view !
Philosophy, of the cult, became a purpose.
Indecent promises,, coming to the surface.
As lives, were upended, for sake of Satan.
Sensual polls, leading to fate, relied upon !
See, " The Quick And The Dead " or " Caligula " !
To, realize, The End, matters.

Hi RICHARD!!…..What a compelling read that was.....partly because I really like the film "The Quick And The Dead"......and the dinner scene between those two was well represented here (in my humble opinion)…...It's really nice to see another Richard Waters poem on here.....I haven't read one of yours for quite some time so this was a treat for me!...….Thanx so much for sharing this my friend.....it brought back some cool memories!!……..LOVE & ROCKETS!!…….T xo : )
" YOU, FEEL, IT. YOU, READ, IT. DO YOU BLEED, IT ? " The " braking " system reflected upon. Where, the fluid is changed, to cause " buffer- ring " effects. Rather, than " UNSTOPPABLE " forces, like " GRAVITY " or centrifugal " motions, spinning " out of control," dictating events. Regarding, LOVE, or any thing else, to matter. Materialistic metaphor replaced. Not by " PSYCHO " killer misdemeanour, but by " f..king " romance. Of, course. OF, A " TYPO " !! Why, would, that, not put a " curb " on acts, of a futile nature. " FROM BEYOND " nurture. And, " culture " !! :) :) POETRY, ASIDE. Obviously.
P.S. Can, you see, the " Promise " as well as the " Surprise " in store ? Sale, of the " Rocking " century, leaving none in doubt. Of, success, within, the literary context. Right ? Or, not ? Relating to, " FLESH AND BLOOD " in historical records !! :) :) " GALAXY QUEST " to reach, the stars, away from " ELECTRIC BLUE " !! Hope springs eternal. Do you think ?
