Ray Of Hope

Alone in the cold

In the dark of the night

Wandering aimlessly

Searching for the light

Sitting around as people pass by

Yearning for happiness

But no-one hears them cry

Then out of the darkness

Comes a shimmering light

To warm you and comfort you

To make all things right

A shoulder to lean on

A cloth for your tears

A soft tender touch

A release from your fears

Along comes that some one

To ease all your pains

To walk with you through life

So you’re never lonely again.
