Poem -

the hats I wear

Don't think of me in any way
don't think to know to whom I
pray
don't try to understand my words
Or listen closer now to hear

The devils voice
inside my head, or is it gods?
I've never said, you

comment on the hats I wear and
is that christian?
Is that fair?
I really don't hide third teats there
I only hide real bad bad hair

and gods + devils, me + hats
have walks upon the streets
And chats,
agree that we shall share the
head
And medicate the church
Instead

M ~

I'm a true life's lover of hats, I very rarely go out without one, flat caps Fedora's all types really and the giant bobbles wooly hats in the winter. 🌹 A very insightful poem.

Subtlety and sublimely expressed here Marion and so clever with your usage of hats.
And the late great Frank Sinatra once said...

'Cock your hat - angles are attitudes.'

Doobie doobie do Marion and thank you for writing only you know how.
Hats off and hugs to you :)

Hey our M,

I reckon this is very much you .. and deeper than the ocean I have just managed to cross to get here ..
I am a great believer in the many hats theory or model which I could probably waffle on for for ages, but won't .. indeed, as you know, I am such a sucker for symbolism .. Well worth all the accolades personally assigned and by my reviewing predecessors too .. Neville x
