Real Love

Real Love

Twenty-four hours to decide your fate.
Are you in a prison already?
You present yourself consumed with hate.
I couldn't see it, the fog was heavy.

I believed you when you said you could change.
I saw that all your actions were seeded in revenge.
Third eye was closed on me,
Struggling to see.
All your flaws were there, your tongue spoke them to me.

Real Love, I might've walked upon it's shore.
It's a shame that it scared me and I shut the door.
Shut it only to let fake love take the lead.
I should've known better,
Knew that you were intimidated by my past and roads travelled.

One day, maybe you'll know, maybe your horizon will broaden
And your amitiontions will flourish.
I'm sorry 'D' that it wasn't with me.

Why thank you! Mmm, yes I am also unsure of that word now on further inspection. But yes, the intent is there, I write only what is true to me and hope that someone else might connect. Thank you kind sir!
