Poem -

Rebirth

Here I am starring at the abyss,

The monkey on my shoulder never a miss,

Climing the stairwell into heavens light,

Meeting the maker, asking for a kiss,

The lips too Devine for this mere mortal,

all that is left is to stare through the portal,

In his image I was placed on this earth,

Offered redemption,

Offered rebirth.
