Recognition

Recognition

You don't belong here

You know it

You feel it

Living in a strange land

In search of a familiar space

You found a familiar face

But he's a stranger it seems

You've never spoken to him before

Yet your observance of him is keen

Something is drawing you close

It's pulling you in

Maybe you're soul recognizes him

Maybe he's from where you've been

Fantastic final line! Though, to be fair, the whole poem is so well written...it's tough to single out one particular line, image or thought without wanting to highlight all.

I'm fast becoming a big fan of your work.
