Red Flag

See the Signs

Red Flag

Every day is like a cry for help
Wondering if someone noticed that I wasn't myself
They say I should really focus on my health
But right now I'm really focused on my wealth
Because providing for myself, seems like the only thing that helps
Not having to depend is another back I didn't have to bend
Another hand that didn't have to lend
Another transaction that didn't have to pend

Sometimes I just sit and wonder
What would be their reaction if I put myself six feet under
It's like a race to say "we didn't see the signs"
But the signs were written across my face
The signs were written across my wrist
The signs were written across my fist
I was a walking cry for help for everyone that couldn't say it for themself

So I call bs
Cause I had that pain written across my chest
You laughed in my face when I said I didn't see the point in finishing this race
Now you shed tears over the body you buried
Because of the skin, you teared
