Red Oceans

She lays in still waters.
Ocean predators circle about.
Stillness is all there is.
Dismiss all there is to life,
She says.
There is nothing to be said,
Nothing to be heard.
Nothing, but the sound of waves
Crashing along the shoreline.
The surface bleeds red around
Her.
Staring into the eyes of her
Reaper.
The ocean engulfs her.
Becoming the ocean herself.
