Red Squirrels

Red Squirrels

Where have all the red Squirrels gone
They are leaving England everyone
Why have the grey ones won them over
They’ve chased the red Squirrels over Dover
Come back home our native beasts
There are loads of acorns for your feasts
Our iconic rusty red Squirrels left their homelands amidst the Wirrral
Scuttling a stockpile and storing your cache
Hiding the treasure and amassing your stash
Drab grey Squirrels go away
Red ones come back to stay
