Reflection

Oh no.
Here she comes

I can hear it,
Car door slamming
Feet stomping
Door...opening

She’s here.

I can feel her presence
Rage Radiating
Sorrow saddening
Depression deepening

Not just hers,
But mine too

I see it as she looks.
Not at me,
But at the wall

I see it in her eyes
The emptiness
The hole in her soul

I can’t help but wonder,
Am I seeing her,
Or a reflection of myself?
