Reflection

I have an irrational fear.
I know you won't understand.
You'll never catch me in a mirror.
Never staring at myself.
Facing my reality.
Facing my identity.
I hate who I am.
I can't ever look for long.
I look down at the sink.
Never looking into my own eyes.
Falling into the dark abyss
I can't withstand it.
You may think it's funny.
You can call me names,
But I don't look at myself in mirrors.
Because I hate who I am.
