Kids hold up a mirror to you
a reflection of everything you do
happy and full of confidence
not just a coincidence
kind and able to share
all credit to your loving care

Down to nature or nurture
I'm never quite sure
but for neglect there is no cure
give them your time every day
try and show them the best way

Will pay dividends
later when your friends
