Reflections On A Confined State

Reflections On A Confined State

Confined to a small space excavating inner deep thoughts
to allow room for comfortable inhales
A bright light once shone trough
Almost like a holy grail
now barred and shut in with metal barriers almost like in jail
Couped up for so long
body has become frail
One hit after the other
I buried the nail
So deep that it cannot be pulled from the surface with the claw end
So deep that now i must make ammends
And carry the ever heaviest load upon my back end
Sigh after sigh as the pain grew
Rest was a definite something i now knew
Relapsed once ago but oh how time flew
Now just a human a human who grew
Or so i thought allowed no room for error
Stare in the mirror he stares back in terror
And as the glass shattered the room felt a tremor
Was this the beginning or end of forever
Or possibly another spectacular endeavor
