Poem -

Rejection.

I seen her from afar, she stood out like a hammer hit thumb.

My man hood was throbbing , I nearly did come.

She had the body of an athlete, a face of natural beauty, and hair of rustic red. God damn I wanted her in my freshly sheeted bed.

I gave a wolf whistle, you know the one that shows you like. She looked at me with displeasure , and said fuck off get on your bike.

I blushed a little red, because I lost some street cred.

I acted like I didn't care, but shit the rejection wasn't easy to bare.

I walked away head down, my red face wearing a frown.

I headed home to lick my wounds,  and quoted the saying.

Tomorrow is another day.

And lady luck could come my way.
