Remember me

I wanted you to remember me when I'm gone,  so I made paper daisies for your dreams. I pressed the prettiest flowers I could find, I sawed them into the seems. I could have picked a wilder type like old blue bells of Merthyr,  to lay upon my fresh dug grave,  as I'm taken by the earth. I could have dressed up roses, those without a blemish seen, with brightly coloured leaves, not pale, a vibrant colour green. Perhaps the sunflower throws her seeds, as she looks towards that glowing sun, as long as I can sweet remember,  you loved them all , not only one.....
