REMEMBER THE SCARS

REMEMBER THE SCARS

Look to Jesus when you want to retreat

Remember the scars on His hands and feet

Remember the thorns placed on His brow

Your troubles will seem to grow small somehow

Remember how they pierced His side

Remember the words He spoke as He died

It is finished was what He said

He breathed His last then He was dead

Three days later He rose again

He had taken our sin taken our pain

The son of God the son of man

Had fulfilled His Fathers salvation plan

Now He sits waiting for us to come

To join Him there the holy one

With His arms outstretched He says come to me

I am the one who set you free

Look to Jesus when you want to retreat

Remember the scars on His hands and feet

Remember the thorns they placed on His brow

Your troubles will seem to grow small somehow

Hey Lynn!!......... another beautifully delivered piece on the greatest of all subject matter........ God......... but of course in this case I am I even more enthralled because I did an entire 1000 word ~ plus........ post on my blog about the "STIGMATA" ...........there's even a fantastic film called "STIGMATA" that goes into some VERY powerful detail about the stigmata........ it stars Patricia Arquette if you ever get the chance........I think you'll be surprised at all of the little known information that film delivers about the Stigmata........... anyway, another great write my friend........... well done...........ALL STARS!!........... hugs-n-smiles...........T xo

What a beautiful piece on the true meaning of Easter Lyn, I think it`s a shame that people forget what Easter is all about these days. It`s not about Easter eggs it`s about our Lord and what he went through for all of us. Well done for an excellent tribute poem, it`s wonderful sweety.

Lots of love and Happy Easter to you and your family.
