REMEMBER WHEN WE WERE YOUNG

REMEMBER WHEN WE WERE YOUNG

Remember when we were young the fun times we had
Sometimes mischievous but never naughty or bad
Kicking a ball or climbing a tree
The good times we shared my sister and me

Remember when we were young you came crying to me
You knew I would protect you and offer security
Growing up as teenagers we drifted apart
You discovered girls and broke my parents heart

I wonder dear sister do you reflect on your younger days
Fun, laughter and enjoyment in so many ways
I have got on with living my everyday life
While you have chosen to live with your wife
