Repercussions

Repercussions

Lifes getting shorter
the older I become
My heart now empty
After years of being numb
Tragedy took my life
When God gave you wings
I turned to darkness & drugs
Among many other things
Time keeps passing by
But I hurt just the same
Memories of you dieing
I remember everyday
I can’t let you go
No matter how hard I try
I told you when we met
I’d be yours the rest of my life
 Now you’re in heaven
Watching over me from above
I pray you don’t judge me
For who I have become
