Repressed Anger

Repressed Anger

Anger & rage lurking behind the cage

Hold on if you may,

Look away

Can't always control it,

Though I try

Seemingly seeping through the sweat

Escaping silently,

Slowly-

A small bit at a time.

Must find some bounds,

Have to chain up the beast that hides,

I cannot suppress it tonight

No poison to repress it,

It’s acquired too much might.

Please run.

This monster is only mine.
