RESISTANCE

Mon Brave

Brave this forgotten mist
those shadow’s glimpsed
youths kiss against horizons wire
lips bleed against sorrow and Seine
tread the stamp of polished boot
The Wreath of art hangs within another’s eye
mon brave
your hearts heaped on haunted vaulted song
never gone.

times history dwells beneath watered gardens
graffiti adorns the scenery of scented passions
politic nails hang the crucified word
gods skies flutter and the tears
dried
