Resolution Resolved

New year's resolutions, are they a complete waist of time?

Brake the habits of hardness that concrete our mind

May I just say, to make this a promise of new

We are forgetting the entrenched cycle inside me & you

To break a habit of worry, want and greed

Maybe take the time to figure out what we need

We want, we get, but then, always we want more

I think our mind is a good New Years Resolution to explore

Understand why we want to climb on top of the pile

Clawing our brothers and sisters on the way up mean while

So my mind is my New Years Resolution you see

As the answer to all things I detest are inside me
