Respiration

I hear flutes playing at eleven o'clock

A wave draws back to the moon

Petals divide to reveal hidden butterfly wings

And the air smells like the beginning of new things

..

A fresh kind of sunlight fills a pristine sky all the way to noon

I'm energised in a way I hadn't been for a very long time

The horizon greets me with many amens

As I declare halleluyahs

..

I frame it in my mind a visage sublime

Breakthrough's changed my fate

Doors that were closed superceded by windows open

It's an Edenic rebirthing

..

It may as well be the pearly gates

Tomorrow here I come with gladness

The storm has finally passed

A second wind infills at last

As I am on pause from my normal life right now (mum is in hospital so lots of thumb-twiddling), I have been writing on overdrive to kill the time. 😅
