Response.
When you examine all man can create
There is so much all of us can celebrate
From the fabric of society, arts and culture
To scientific research offering a better future
Why do some not appreciate what's for all ?
Why do some want to see everything fall ?
Having hatred and resentment in their hearts
Wishing to see what we have done come apart
Listening to preachers who manipulate religion
It is they, not us, who should change their opinion !
Extremists offer nothing but a return to past misery
Let's destroy them, their beliefs and progress in unity.

Hey Richard. A great write. Humanity could change but the people have to change first . A new president is not the solution and religion is not the problem ,it is the extremists on every religion that put a shame of the ultimate goal of peace and good will to all . There is always going to be a few nuts who screw everything up for the rest of us . Hugs to you rock
Faith can not be used as a cover for evil to carry out despicable atrocities.
Religion is about love, peace and unity ! No one should listen to radical views from preachers who promote anything but these !

Captain, my captain!!.........am I sensing anger in this piece?...........I can TOTALLY understand where that may be coming from...........I spend ALOT of time learning, reading, researching, and writing a blog to vent and educate.........but I keep coming up against the same problematic conversations and technological misunderstandings by those who can't see truth if it bit them in the ass...........it's interesting that I keep my anger out of my poetry..........but not everyone is a Richard Waters..........you're an awesome soul .......and I know my understanding of you is only a cyber-understanding..........but.........I can read between the lines as well most...........stay cool brother.........and keep 'em comin' !!!..........smiles..........T xo
