I wish the night would settle in and take deep rest upon me now - there's a certain loneliness, I'm missing you somehow
Although the moon is full to shine, there's shadows at my door
An expedition of the heart - my love to seek, explore
In the silence of your absence, there's dark I cannot mistake
I felt your soul upon my own, as earth began to shake
It seems this room is empty and echoes of past love, when angels came to quarter you, and take you high above
I listened for the tinkering bells, but thou they did not chime, and found myself in memories, When you of course were mine, time it takes for a rose to bloom, and bloom you often would, but gone are you to understand, As time parhaps it should, the only thing that's left of love
