revisiting the garden of Eden

revisiting the garden of Eden

It's the unexpected
That you wait for at night
The ghost you feared
That would come
In your dreams where you shake
That which haunts you keeps you awake

So walk through the valley of the ghosts
Holding your prayer in your heart
Thou shalt not kill
As evil knows your name
You, the sinner
The killer of life

There you walk
In your white shroud
Through the ghost cloud
Steps leading the way
Towards the final edge
Over which you leave this life

Unto death and into
Into the death cloud
Seeking the God of redemption
Tears dripping over the earth
Bringing new life for humanity,
A new beginning in the garden of Eden
